Yep, I'm afraid the time has come. Ever since eclipse came this site started to feel really empty, plus it has been really hard to use. I'm not planning to deactive since I still have some memories of this place.

[According Commissions]

So far I have understood the basic things on how paypal works and I think I may open commissions soon, but there are a few things to clarify: I no longer accept point commissions UNLESS I ask to (such as to buy core in case I want to change my username in the future).
Now the tricky part is in what currency I'll be accepting: Euros or USD, and I'll need your opinion in this one. From what I have seen from most artists, including Europians, USD seems to be the 'global currency'. However the problem with USD is it's less in Euros, for example 50$ is about 45,38€ and if I was accepting in Euros, the prices may be a bit expensive to those whose currency is in USD. But an idea I have in mind is to accept in USD but the prices would be about as much I would in Euros, for example a shaded fullbody would cost 45$ which in Euros is almost 40€. But there's still the possibility to accept in Euros instead.

!! Exam Results and Major changes !!

So..
The results were announced yesterday and it turns out that:
I didn't pass.
To make things clear, no, I'm not shocked or anything considering the fact that I have been practicing for only 6 months and to enter in Fine Arts usually requires at least 2 years! Also my grade was 4 while the base is 5, which is a suprise for a beginner like me. This means I have a higher chance to pass with the second!
So Hiatus will last longer for now, but I'll try to active whenever I have time.

As I mentioned in my previous journal, I have made major changes to all my accounts and to my rules for art trades.
Starting with my accounts:
Devianart will be used for finished & high quality artworks only, meaning that any sketches or doodles won't be posted here.
Since this account is my main, I want to make it as my 'portfolio'.
On Twitter I'll be posting both finished art and random doodles. There may be a few non-art related post and speak my thoughts, but I'll try to keep it art related.
On Tumblr it's the same with Twitter. Additionaly, I made a side blog where I'll be posting and reblog miscellaneous things, so I won't spam my accounts with non-art stuff
But keep in mind it's still work in progress at the moment.

After a lot of thought on this topic, I've came with this conclusion:
From now on, I'll be accepting art trades from people with the same art level with me only (with only exception my friends)
I'll explain why:
It has been stressing me and sometimes reduce my motivation, but the main reason is because I wouldn't have any costumers for commissions because "Why pay them when I can just get free art by drawing their character?". I feel like that letting anyone to get art from me through art trades may decrease the value of my art and attract unwanted audience.
This change may upset some people, but if I want to take my career seriously, there must be changes.

Update + Art trades [CLOSED]

So, it's been a while.
Starting with the basics, exams are finally over and the results will be announced in October. During these two weeks, there will be a major update to all my accounts and I'll be studying how Paypal works so I can open commissions, plus with money.
Also, since I will have plenty of free time for a while, I'm opening art trades because I need to create some recent artworks to make a proper 'portfolio' for my gallery.
